Iwi Election Services
Working with iwi across Aotearoa New Zealand, Election Services people have become highly experienced in all aspects of conducting and managing annual, biennial and triennial elections, Tiriti settlement ratification polls, related hui and Annual General Meetings.
Our team follow Māori protocols, while strictly adhering to the ture (trust deed) and the principles of the Local Electoral Act 2001—ensuring good electoral compliance, and delivering outcomes that withstand scrutiny. Election Services managers are completely independent and impartial, in all dealings, with all stakeholders.
With over three decades of experience, Election Services can provide a comprehensive end-to-end service that covers all aspects of voting; including voting in person at hui, postal voting and online voting.
Election Services can also advise iwi regarding improvements to ture (deeds of trust) and electoral rolls—including all aspects of data management.
In addition to attending Annual General Meetings and hui, iwi election services include chairing candidate presentations, managing special voting, and announcement of results. Whatever the need, Election Services work with iwi in an open, positive and transparent way, building trusted relationships that lead to successfully managed and legally compliant elections.
